in Stanislaus National Forest near Pinecrest Lake

This is a drive up group campground with firepits, bathrooms and tons of space for troop activities in the Stanislaus National Forest. Laid back camping fun. Huge group campgrounds for up to 150 people. Coordinating event with 1625.
Lost Coast Backpacking

Difficulty: Advanced
This trip is a backpacking trip that will include carrying a backpack for up to 10 miles per day through the iconic Lost Coast of Northern California. Due to the difficult nature of this trip, pre hikes with the troop will be required and a high level of fitness and preparation is strongly advised. This trip has a maximum of 15 participants and if we hit the limit, participants will be selected based on 1) pre-hikes successfully completed, 2) order in which reservations are received, and 3) leadership positions/seniority within the troop. Adult participation may be limited to maximize scouts. We will be keeping a waiting list as well.
